About Us
We are scientists at Emory University in Atlanta, GA.  We perform real science in cutting-edge laboratories. Our main focus is cancer research with an interest in a variety of other scientific disciplines. Our scientists have all had extensive training in research including molecular biology, cell biology, cancer biology, epidemiology, and pharmacology.

Adam Marcus, PhD - Founder  - Follow on Twitter @notmadscientist
Dr. Marcus is an Assistant Professor of Hematology and Oncology at the Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University. Dr. Marcus along with Ms. Eggers founded Students for Science to get students excited and passionate about scientific research. Dr. Marcus is a Georgia Cancer Coalition Scholar and American Cancer Society Research Scholar recipient. His research is funded by the National Cancer Institute and other cancer research foundations. His research focus is on how cancer cells metastasize using molecular and cellular biology approaches and is funded by the NIH. | More research info on Dr. Marcus's Lab

Carrie Eggers, MS - Co-Founder
Ms. Eggers is a scientist with over 10 years of experience as a scientist.  She is currently receiving her Masters in Public Health.  Her experience is in cell biology, cancer biology, molecular biology, and epidemiology.  Ms. Eggers research focus at Emory is now on cancer metastasis and how the polarity of cells regulates cancer cell movement
